STUDENT KIT FAQ
Do I have to pay shipping on student kits?
Student kit shipping is included in the price. The only added cost is GST.
How long will it take to receive my student kit?
For shipping within Canada, you can expect your kit to arrive within 7-14 days. However, Ugly Duckling shipping is usually on the faster side!
If I purchase a student kit, is there anything else I need for my courses?
Because I do not ship chemical cleaners and want to keep our student costs as low as possible, the only required items you may need to purchase are:
- Cuticle nippers
- Full cover tips (if completing Gel-X style training)
- Cuticle pusher (or orange wood sticks)
- Barbicide, TRU, or another similar disinfecting product
Most of these products are available on Amazon for under $10 CAD and I do supply links to purchase after enrollment. You are also welcome to use any supplies you already have on hand.
Can I purchase just the kit without a course?
You must be a student of the Vixxen Gel Nail Academy in order to purchase a student kit. If you are already a student, did not opt in to purchase a kit and have changed your mind, you can still purchase kit after enrollment by contacting Vixxen through: [email protected]
Am I required to purchase a student kit to enroll?
Student kits are not a requirement of enrollment. You can complete any of the Vixxen Gel Nail courses with products you already have on hand. However, to get the most out of the courses it is highly recommended that you use professional grade products. Purchasing a kit through Vixxen will ensure you have access too top quality professional products - the same products used in all of the tutorial videos - at a significantly discounted rate.
