The nail industry in most Canadian provinces (Alberta, BC, Ontario, etc.) is currently self-regulated, but the Vixxen Academy sets a high standard. Our curriculum combines professional business strategies with advanced technical skills and health & sanitation requirements. Upon completing the Gel Nail Architect Certification program, you receive a professional certificate that proves you have mastered the gel theory, application, safety, chemistry, and business architecture. This Certification will allow you to work on clients and buy professional-grade products and equipment from nail salon supply stores.

Courses are currently offered online and can be completed anywhere. Vixxen Gel Nail Academy is based out of Edmonton, Alberta and focuses on Canadian regulations and products.

Violet started doing nails professionally in 2018, after completing an Acrylic and Gel Nail Certification program in British Columbia. Since then, she has run her own home salon offering gel enhancements, brow lamination and lash lift & tints.

In addition to being a Certified Nail Technician, specializing in gel, Violet also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management, a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Communication, and is Project Management Professional Certified with over 10 years of experience working with a variety of multi-million dollar companies in business and communications strategy management.

When not busy with the above, Violet teaches dance and fitness priding herself in technical details, personalized instruction, and guaranteeing a safe and fun atmosphere for students of all levels.
